Better is Possible.
Youth Angel Fund
FamilyMeans Youth Development program serves the communities of Cimarron and Landfall. As two of the poorest communities in Minnesota, many youth are unable to participate in after-school sports or extracurricular activities because the cost is too high for their families.
The Youth Angel Fund is a specific fund used to help these youth to cover participation fees or special equipment needs. FamilyMeans Youth Development staff members work with the youth participants to determine need.
Sample fund requests include:
- Middle School athletics and uniforms
- High School athletic and uniforms
- Driver’s education classes
- Sports shoes
- Summer camp registration
- School musical instrument rental
- Student clubs, music or arts groups
Costs fluctuate frequently. Please contact the Development & Communications Office at 651-789-4057 or Communications@FamilyMeans.org for current information.
Gifts to the Youth Angel Fund can be designated on the secure online donation form or noting it in the memo line of a check mailed or dropped off to FamilyMeans. Thank you.
FamilyMeans is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization (EIN 41-6045574). As such, gifts to FamilyMeans are tax deductible according to IRS regulations.
