Yoga Nidra for Grief
Yoga nidra (or yogic sleep) is a deep relaxation yoga practice that brings you to the threshold state between sleep and wakefulness. In this state, external senses are diminished and focus is turned inward, allowing for stress relief, increased energy, improvements in sleep/relaxation, and healing through pain and grief. Studies show that 30 minutes of yoga nidra can equate up to 4 hours of REM sleep.
Please join us for this restorative and gentle yoga practice, allowing a weary and hurting body, mind, and heart to rest and heal.
Join certified yoga instructor, Dallas Rising, as she guides you through this practice safely over zoom. Great for people of all ages and abilities - you simply need to find a comfortable space where you can lie down and listen.
Date: Thursday, June 10, 2021
Cost: $10 per person
Registration for this session is now closed. Please contact Melena at email@example.com with questions. Thank you!
Thank you for joining us for a virtual fundraiser in support of FamilyMeans!
