300 local women gathered at the Envision Event Center for a morning of brunch, mimosas, and a large silent auction with over 150 purses and specialty items. Guests enjoyed music played by Next Generation Council member, Sebastian Hearne, as they mingled and bid on items.
The program focused on FamilyMeans clients and staff, videos were shown telling the stories of their experiences with FamilyMeans. We celebrated the success of 10 years of Power of the Purse and the lives that have been touched by FamilyMeans programming.
Surprise guest, Ken Barlow, shared his story of overcoming bi-polar disorder while succeeding in his professional career with KSTP.
