Parenting Support Groups

Being a parent is hard work. Shaping the lives of your children, who often decide to do the opposite of what you are teaching, can be difficult, but also rewarding.  Finding someone to talk to and help you, as the parent, through the challenges that come with raising a child is important. FamilyMeans Counseling & Therapy offers individual, couple, and family counseling that provides a good first step in parenting support.

Sometimes, parenting support groups can also be helpful, gathering with peers to work through problems and hearing where others have found success. FamilyMeans does not currently have any parenting support groups, but we have provided some local groups that may help you find support!

Reunification Therapy Discussion Group for Parents: For parents that feel pushed out of your relationship with your child after a divorce. Meets Every other Tuesday 6:30pm-8pm in Eagan, MN.

Couples Parenting Support Group: Designed to build commitment, honesty, empathy, and your relationship so that you can co-parent more successfully. Mondays and Tuesdays in Chanhassen, MN.

Parenting Class: Two-session class for parents of all ages who are interested in learning how to work together as a family. Meets in St. Paul on Varying Dates
