Gifts in Memory, Honor, or Celebration

A gift made in memory, honor, or celebration of someone special is a meaningful way to recognize an individual while supporting the programs and services of FamilyMeans.

Many donors, volunteers, former staff, clients, and community members choose to make gifts in memory of a loved one, in honor of someone who has made a difference in their lives, or to celebrate special occasions such as birthdays, anniversaries, retirements, graduations, and other milestones.

Memorial Gifts

Gifts made in memory of a loved one are directed to the FamilyMeans Program Endowment Fund, unless otherwise designated by the donor. Endowment gifts provide lasting support for our mission, helping ensure that FamilyMeans can serve individuals and families for generations to come.

Honor and Celebration Gifts

Gifts made in honor of an individual or in celebration of a special occasion provide general operating support for FamilyMeans' current programs and services, unless otherwise designated by the donor. These gifts help meet the needs of the community today while honoring the people and milestones that matter most to you.

Make a Tribute Gift

You can make a gift in memory, honor, or celebration of someone by:

• Indicating your tribute gift designation on our secure online donation form.
• Writing "In Memory of [Name]", "In Honor of [Name]", or "In Celebration of [Name]" on the memo line of your check.
• Including a note with any other type of donation.

 Acknowledging Your Gift

If you would like FamilyMeans to notify a family member or honored individual of your gift, please provide their name and contact information when making your donation. The gift amount will not be disclosed.
