Mental Health Clinical Internship

 

Now accepting MFT, Clinical Social Work, and Counseling Psychology Interns for  Fall 2024! Interviews are being conducted now with training dates in August.

Our Counseling & Therapy Program hosts Mental Health Clinical Interns in providing mental health assessment, treatment, and preventative services to clients while collaborating and consulting with agency/school personnel. Provide both direct, billable services and non-direct services such as consultation, training and early intervention/prevention services to school staff.

Onboarding

5 days of orientation and training to best prepare you for your internship experience.

Experience 

Receive a well-rounded experience during your internship with FamilyMeans. Join a team of 15+ clinicians. Service locations include outpatient clinic and school-based. Provide treatment to individuals (all ages), groups, couples, and families.

Compensation

Interns receive a $250 monthly stipend. Additionally, internship-related travel expenses are reimbursed.

Supervision & Consultation

11+ hours each month. 1-hour individual/weekly, 1-hour small group/weekly, 1-hour large group/bimonthly, 1-hour intern only group/monthly.
