Financial Counselor

FamilyMeans is currently seeking a part-time (24 hours per week) Financial Counselor for our office in Rochester, MN. The Financial Counselor will review financial situations to develop spending and action plans, build specialized debt repayment programs, be the lead for special EAP counseling, be the community liaison for budgeting, debt and credit education, as well as manage a variety of nationally directed financial improvement programs while motivating clients to take action through in-person, online or telephone communication.

Requirements:  Bachelor’s degree or significant experience in the financial service or related field.  Financial or teaching experience, student loan and credit knowledge is a plus! Public presentation skills and community involvement desired. Must be able to work independently with exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
