Council on Accreditation
FamilyMeans is accredited by the Council on Accreditation.
COA accreditation attests that an organization meets the highest national standards and is delivering the best quality services to the community it serves.
The COA accreditation process involves in-depth examination of the organization’s compliance with best practice standards. COA is endorsed by leading consumer and professional groups and by many regulatory bodies and managed care organizations.
FamilyMeans also engages with COA's Performance and Quality Improvement (PQI) standards. These standards include the expectation that accredited organizations include management and operations measures in their PQI plans. At FamilyMeans, representatives from across the organization work together to form the agency's Quality Assurance Committee. This group meets monthly to discuss processes and goals in each area within the agency, refining our approach organization-wide as needed. These refinements help us meet our long-term strategic goals through routine, accredited monitoring.
