Caregiver Coaching and Consultation
Experienced staff members help caregivers find the best way to provide quality care while still maintaining a healthy, balanced lifestyle.
What does a caregiver consultant do?
The caregiver consultant, or coach, helps caregivers and their families:
- coordinate services
- solve problems together
- cope with daily challenges
- facilitate family meetings
- plan ahead
You and your caregiver consultant can meet in your home, at FamilyMeans, or in another location convenient for you.
Our caregiver consultants also are designated by the Stillwater Area ACT on Alzheimer's Team as Dementia Resource Navigators, ready to equip you to work through complex issues, make better decisions, and feel less alone and stressed as you face the many challenges of dementia.
