Parenting Through Separation & Divorce Classes Available at FamilyMeans

In collaboration with Jenny Hanlon Consulting, FamilyMeans is hosting four class sessions and discussion groups this winter focusing on the challenges of parenting through separation and divorce.

This class/discussion group will focus on parents who are struggling to parent their children through a separation and divorce they are going through with their partner. The sessions will help parents understand and focus on supporting the child's emotional well-being during, and after, the transition.

Please join us during the following dates:

  • Thursday, December 5th, 2013
  • Thursday, December 12th, 2013
  • Thursday, January 2nd, 2014
  • Thursday, January 9th, 2014

All classes are from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM.

A participation fee of $60.00 is required.

The parenting class is held in conjunction with a support group (which is also being held at FamilyMeans) for children who are ages 8-10 going through the transition of a divorce or separation. You may also register your child for this support group by contacting Emily Erickson at FamilyMeans at 651-439-4840. The child may be registered in the children's support group even if the parents are not in the separation or divorce class.
