Free Financial Education Seminars This April with Central Bank

FamilyMeans and Central Bank are happy to announce their plan for several free financial education classes throughout the month of April, 2014.

April is financial literacy month, and is recognized across the country as a month where organizations work to highten the importance of financial literacy for individuals and families. It covers all topics, ranging from how to establish and maintain healthy financial habits, to learning to budget, reduce debt, and live independently. Since 2000, financial literacy month has seen support from a growing number of organizations, including FamilyMeans and Central Bank.

This year, FamilyMeans and Central Bank are working together to provide a number of financial seminars throughout the month, in seven different cities in eastern Minnesota and western Wisconsin. Topics locally range from:

- ID Theft Awareness
- Successful Money Management
- Taking Control of Your Credit
- Money Smart for Older Adults

And many more. All classes are offered FREE to people who sign up, with a number of days and different times available to meet any schedule.
