St. Croix Garden Tour in Stillwater Ready for Social Participation
Jul 08, 2013
For the 21st year in a row, the St. Croix Garden Tour benefiting FamilyMeans will be coming to the Stillwater, Minnesota and surrounding region this weekend.
On July 13 and 14, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, the Garden Tour will welcome guests from all over the region to visit gardens in the St. Croix Valley. Ticket proceeds from the tour will benefit programs at FamilyMeans, a Stillwater-based non-profit organization offering financial counseling services, mental health services, caregiver support, youth programs, and many more services to the Twin Cities community and Wisconsin.
For 21 years, participants of the St. Croix Garden Tour have enjoyed visiting gardens of a wide variety. Some have been in remote parts of the St. Croix Valley, while others have been housed right in their neighborhood. From lush flowers and prairie grasses, to unique garden structures and water features, the Garden Tour offers something for everybody, and certainly leaves people with something to talk about afterwards.
This year, FamilyMeans is facilitating the conversation during and throughout the tour weekend by remaining active on social media accounts, using a unique hashtag to have people track the conversations around the St. Croix Garden Tour easier. Using "#FMGT13" on social accounts like Twitter and Facebook will allow garden guests to check in where the activity is going on during the tour, provide great pictures from the gardens, videos, and much more.
We'd love to see all of our Garden Tour guests join in on the conversation this year. When you're on the tour, simply use #FMGT13 to share your photos, or post your favorite garden you visited. FamilyMeans social accounts will share updates, and look forward to all the great reaction from Garden Tour participants.
Make sure to follow FamilyMeans on all of our social accounts to join in on the St. Croix Garden Tour conversation:
