FamilyMeans' Day Out! program’s schedule chockfull of fun-filled spring activities
Program provides caregivers a 4-hour break
Do you provide care for an adult with chronic health issues who may enjoy a day of fun with others in similar situations? If so, FamilyMeans’ Day Out! program is your answer. The program is designed to provide a break for caregivers while their family member spends time in a safe, supervised setting where a variety of activities are available.
The Day Out! program is offered every Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at FamilyMeans in Stillwater. The cost is $40 per day and scholarships are available.
FamilyMeans staff and volunteers run the program. Volunteers are paired with care receivers ensuring individualized attention and the opportunity to get to know each other and enjoy activities together on a regular basis. Participants enjoy both individual and group activities.
Families do not need to live in Washington County to participate.
