Kelly Hansen

Kelly Hansen

Director of Financial Solutions

Kelly Hansen joined FamilyMeans in 1999.  A year later, she became Intake Coordinator when FamilyMeans acquired Consumer Credit Counseling Service (CCCS) of Minnesota. In 2001, Kelly assumed responsibility for both intake and the debt management program as Operations Manager.

In 2020, she accepted the role as Director of Financial Solutions. Kelly serves on the board of directors of Cooperative Processing Resources and is on the Council on Member Affairs for the National Foundation for Credit Counseling.  Kelly has been a quality assurance reviewer for the Council on Accreditation, has served on many task forces regarding technology and operations.  Kelly has a bachelor’s degree in business communications from University of Wisconsin-River Falls. 

 


Eli Snyder

Eli Snyder

Financial Solutions Counselor Manager

Eli Snyder joined FamilyMeans in July 2009 as a credit counselor, bringing his personal passion for budgeting and money management success to his clients. His prior experience as a mortgage broker, combined with his communications degree from University of Northwestern in Saint Paul, has benefited both FamilyMeans and its clients over the years. Eli works out of the Stillwater and Saint Paul locations. If you would like to build money management skills, improve your credit, and be excited about it as you learn…Eli is the counselor for you! 

In Fall 2019, Eli was named National Foundation for Credit Counseling (NFCC) Counselor of the Year. This award honors Eli's passion for financial counseling and education. In his tenure with FamilyMeans, Eli has helped over 1,275 families pay back over $30 million dollars of debt! 

In June 2021, Eli was promoted to the position of Financial Solutions Counselor Manager. He is excited to use his expertise to help guide staff in helping our clients find financial freedom.

Joe Cash

Joe Cash

Certified Consumer Credit Counselor

Joe Cash is from Alabama where he completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Birmingham-Southern College. Joe worked in banking, the mortgage industry, investments and as a financial advisor for a divorce attorney before joining the Marine Corps and being deployed multiple times to Iraq and Northwest Africa. 

Joe has a passion for finance and has a lengthy history of helping family, friends, the Marine Corp and his Financial Solutions clients solve financial concerns.  Joe manages our Eau Claire Wisconsin office. When he is not in the Financial Solutions office, he may be found coaching youth soccer for Eau Claire United as well as the varsity team from Chippewa Falls, McDonell-Regis High School.

Certified Consumer Credit Counselor

Kun Liu manages our Rochester, MN office. Kun has over a decade of business and financial service expertise, including personal banker in retail banking and investments, financial planning, with a degree from the University of Minnesota. She holds great passion for helping people get to a place of financial security and stability, Kun is an excellent addition to the Financial Solutions team! She is excited to begin working with you to complete your Debt Management Program, help you moving one step closer to your financial goals.

 
 
 


Suzy Wheeler

Suzy Wheeler

Financial Solutions Educator

Suzy began working with FamilyMeans in 1987 and truly knows the ins and outs of our Financial Solutions program. She has 3 years of banking experience and over 30 years of financial counseling and financial literacy education experience.

Suzy is eager to meet with groups to provide financial education, and help individuals grow and become better at managing their money. Suzy is a Certified Mortgage Foreclosure Prevention Specialist and was once named the National Foundation for Credit Counseling’s Counselor of the Year. A prestigious national award that honors her dedication to helping individuals navigate their financial situation and emerge stronger. Suzy has a BA in Social Work from the University of Wisconsin - Madison.
